Dora Ellen Sullivan (1891-1979) was a character actor who appeared, mostly uncredited, in around seventy pictures.

Clement was in her forties when she made her first films in 1929, which suggests she was one of the many stage actors who found work in the new, talking Hollywood. She made one Broadway appearance, in the original production of Harvey in 1944. This ran until 1949, and she never returned to making films, though she did television work in the early fifties.

Dora Clement can be seen in Mr Deeds Goes to Town (1936), The Awful Truth (1937), Easy Living (1937), Mr Smith Goes to Washington (1939), Destry Rides Again (1939), The Women (1939), The Lady Eve (1941) and Sun Valley Serenade (1941).

She also acted in two MGM musicals, Student Tour and a credited role in Nobody’s Baby.
