Claire Myers (1917-2005) was a California resident who began taking uncredited roles in films while still a teenager. Her career was short, comprising around ten features and shorts in seven years.
Her appearances were generally unnoticeable, though she did play one of the Three Graces in Universal’s Night Life of the Gods (1935). It is also alleged that she worked as a leg double for, amongst others, Joan Crawford, although, given Crawford’s own legs were much admired, it is unclear why this would have happened.
Meyers played show girls in two MGM musicals, Hollywood Party and Broadway Melody of 1936.
