Pauline Brooks (1912-67) apparently made her debut on Broadway when she was only seventeen, in George White’s Scandals.
All that is known after that is that she made a handful of uncredited appearances in feature films and shorts before playing the romantic lead in a Poverty Row comedy, Make a Million (1935). Why her screen career ended at that relative high point is currently a mystery.
Brooks was in two MGM musicals: Hollywood Party, as one of the legion of show girls, and Student Tour.
